Cibelle was founded on a revolutionary mission: to fiercely inspire women to celebrate their differences and support a movement of empowerment through eyewear. 

Every idea starts with a problem and our was simple: optical glasses are boring. We started cibelle because we couldn't find high-quality frames that made us feel confident and beautiful. They were either too plain or simply not good looking. So we set out to offer an alternative.

Along the way, we also found that fast fashion eyewear came at the expense of someone in the supply chain, usually people and the planet. At that point, we knew we not only had to make the finest eyewear possible, but we had to instill a new way of doing business. At cibelle, we're in it for the long haul.
